Viewing Historical Information

The Allocation Table shows bandwidth allocated to the current user and the amount charged for this bandwidth. Allocations are shown in order, most recent at the top. Each row corresponds to a single Merkato auction (for Spot market resources) or a single reservation (for Reservation market resources). The Allocation Table gives you an indication that Merkato auctions have been providing the desired results. You may obtain information for longer timeframes in the Billing page via custom queries.

The Market Price History graph shows the price paid for the last unit of bandwidth sold. Under normal operation, all bidders pay this price for the bandwidth they receive. Fluctuations of this price indicate changes in the dynamics of the market—bidders entering or leaving the market or altering their valuation profiles.

The Express interface includes two market price graphs:

·        Average market price on an hourly basis.

• Average market price on a daily basis.
