How Does Merkato Work?

The user may either bid from their desktop, using a Merkato desktop agent, or upload their agent into the “Garage” on the server, to continue bidding automatically.

The “Resource Agent” conducts continuous auctions and, at the end of each round, apportions bandwidth among successful bidders. Transaction and accounting information is kept on a database for future retrieval.
