Merkato allows you to stop bidding at any time. If your application requires bandwidth only during certain time of the day or days of the month, consider stopping your agent during periods of inactivity. This is an alternative to traffic-based bidding. You can then either pocket the money you save, or use it to raise your budget (and receive a greater allocation) during times when you are actively using bandwidth.
